But you don't even need a lift. I've done both axles in my Accord; the only tools I needed were a lug nut socket, wheel nut socket, breaker bar, a ball joint seperator, pry bar, and a floor jack and jackstands. The Civic is essentially identical.

You can do a lot with just a jack and jackstands.
