I'm just saying, to avoid rust I would have had to wax underneath the hood.
Here's what you need to do, they sell small sand-paper like q-tips. I think Griot's even sells them. Sand away the rust spot (it's surface any how) and then touch up paint the area. Tadah! No more rust.
And you can feel good about the car again
