That sounds like what I used to do. Now, I channel bottled up energy in different ways. I usually clean something up when something is bothering me. Takin aggressions etc. out on things that need attention allowed me to figure things out a little easier. It's like creating a greater surface area to allow thoughts to fly free. Kinda like when you're on a 2-lane highway and it's windy. You roll the windows down so the opposing Semi's don't blow you over. The wind needs to roll through and so does anger, or what ever is bugging us.

Also, by cleaning, if you come home with the same amount of depression, just looking at how clean everything is can make you feel better.

But the best thing I can say that I ever did, was to talk to a Therapist. The cleaning was allowing myself time to accept what we talked about.
