Knew the tranny was F'd already and we pulled a used one from the pick-n-pull junk yard for $60.

Got the bad tranny off and then saw this:




I guess I hit something put a hole in the tranny and leaked out all the fluid. This was at the Sand Dunes and there was some extreme off roading for a Civic to get to the campsite. Made it 2 hrs home with no fluid in the tranny before it took a TOTAL crap.

We got the used tranny (from 170K mile car) installed, new clutch disk too. Its done now, everything works great, better than other tranny was before!
