Alright other shop owners are goona kill me, but im tired of them making dynamat sound so hard to work with so here it goes.......
a small piece the size of a dollar bill placed on a metal trash can with a sub mounted to it STOPS the tingy sound.
you do not need to put it on like wall paper, it does not need to cover every square inch of the panel
If you can put a sticker on your car, or a wal you can install dynamat
here is a picture of one that i recently installed, it took 12 hours to apply, but the interior was already removed.
