Yes it is easy, but if you do not know how to remove the panel and you break somthing that 200 is going to turn into 400-500....

if your handy with taking your car apart then shoot for it. other wise id pay somebody who has the time, and ability.

as for getting ripped off question, do you know how much the dynamat is and how much labor is being assesed?

cause i charge 50/door to apply it so that right thier is 100 bucks
and the kit runs about 80 so sounds fair so far

the heat gun is personal preferance to some installers, but either way it takes tim to install and you the installer are running the risk of somthing breaking and needing to be replaced.

So I would say no, you are not getting ripped off
he's right price sounds okay. I'd just do i my self however if you never taken a door panel off you may want to pay. Its really easy to take the door panel off though . If ya don't have power anything (locks/windows) I can tell ya how to do it. ya can still do it if its got power lock\windows ya just got to take a little more time as there is wiring to deal with.
