Stock TB on an ITR and I believe also the CTR is 62mm.
Just as with exhaust, bigger is not always better. There's a proper size for every application. Intake air
velocity is a large factor in the performance of your engine.
62mm will by no means be overkill, that would be my recommended starting point. I'd need to know more about your application and goals before recommending anything else.
