My 20d used to get error 99 codes. Horrible when it would go down DURING at shoot. The only thing that would clear is was to take the battery pack off, pull the CF card out, wait, and put it all back in. I'd also reformat the card and shoot on contiuous. Yeah the error 99 codes are fairly easy to clear up. I have had the infamous "Sigma lens" error99 issue for a while and I would just switch to a different lens for a while and keep on going. Once I got the repair on the lens Sigma was offering it has worked fine since.
Error 02 is a bit different since I can't do anything with the memory cards currently either in camera or on comp. I am going to go pick up a new card reader and another card just to see if either fixes the issue.
