Default Cruel and Unusual?

I think anyone clearly proven guilty of violent sex crime should be deprived the use of his reproductive organs. I just saw some show on a serial rapist that brought up this thought in my head, but I've thought this many times. I know a few women who are rape victims, and the kind of trauma this causes is severe and permanent... I would go as far as to say its on-par with taking a life (although I'm sure others would disagree); it utterly alters their perception of life, themselves and members of the opposite sex, often leading to severe depression and scuicidal tendencies.

I'm not sure exactly how they define "cruel and unusual," but I'm a firm believer in the punishment matching the crime (if the electric chair isn't cruel and unusual, I don't know what is--thats gotta be one of the more painful ways to die). A decade in prison just isn't enough.

That, and sex offenders usually have psychological disorders that make them prone to violent sex acts. If you cut off the man's johnson, he's not going to rape anyone.

Who's with me?
