Glad I read the thread, otherwise I would've said the same thing.
In addition to that, we pick up little traits and behaviors that we connect with in our interactions with others. We assimilate these goodies and make them our own. I've noticed little things that I have picked up from people that I met years ago, something that I liked about them, and have used these traits and behaviors without being aware of it until I stepped back to take a look.
It's like something goes down in front of you, and if you had THAT friend that would appreciate the moment the best, you comment in their voice, and crack up people that don't even know that person. To me, that's a form of praying for people. You just sprinkled that person all over the room. Helps me not have to miss people I don't see as often as I'd like.
