depends on what part of his heart he had the attack. also what caused it. my dad had one in the bundle branch. so he throws pvcs alot. cant feel them but i could see them on his monitor. he has had 2 stents put in. my father had his heart attack at work and a coworker found him at his desk.. we work or worked in the same hospital. he recently retired. he got very lucky. most people do recover well. your heart will never recover to your preheart attack condition. there are alot of drugs and therapy used today. diet, exercise, lifestyle and family hx are all important.
