The Civic CAI will fit, but it will rub on the passenger's side strut tower. The GSR CAI will also fit, but you won't likely have the mounting points that you would in the GSR.
Also, the bs about having to change out the distributor and this and that to make the motor OBD1 is just that bs. As long as you have an OBD2 wiring harness to connect everything from the motor to the cassis wiring then your OBD1 ECU will only make use of the connections/sensors that it needs. I had an OBD2 1997 B18C1 in my car and an OBD1 P72 ECU. You will have to run the various wires like VTEC, VTEC oil pressure, and knock sensor to the ECU too.
