Does anyone out there know if this would work?These engines are very similar - same family etc. and I think that only the compression & stroke are different. There are no (very few) quality off the shelf mods for my D16V1 (2003 Civic 3dr hatch vtec sport SOHC), but LOADS for it's slightly bigger brother - the D17 in it's three variants in the Coupe model.
I have:
Stainless header for the coupe D17 and fits like a glove
Hi-flow Cat again for the D17 and fits like a glove
Custom cat-back
K&N 57i induction
Uni-chip from Dastek
When getting it chipped on the rollers, the technician advised me to fit stage 1 camshaft - and I can't find one for the new D16 variants, only for D17 variants.
Someone please share the knowledge!
