I just had another thought about this again...

I don't think I can go custom being that I live in cali, even though I can probably make a nice custom turbo for a good price, if I was to ever get pulled over and a cop is an asshole and tells me to pop my hood, it's going to cost me more than buying a new smog legal turbo kit like Greddy or Edelbrock. I hate cali's CARB laws. I should move. It would suck paying a $600+ dollar ticket, impoundment fees, and than having the hassle of converting my car back to stock and then never being able to drive my car custom without going through the same routine.

I guessing I'll get the eldebrock kit, change the turbo to GT28RS turbo and keep the smog legal stickers, give it the appearance of a legal kit, while being upgraded, selling my old parts that I don't need, such as Skunk2 IM, DC Sports Header, AEM CAI, and Apexi Vafc2 or maybe I can get the open track kit and have someone fabricate me those smog legal stickers/papers and I'd save me some money.
