I know this is an old thread, but my pedal is starting to make a clicking(popping) noise everytime i depress it. Could it be this pin your talking about fixing to break? I just got down an pressed it and looked with a flashlight, and could not really tell where it is making the noise. It kind of pops a little when it's almost fully depressed. Very annoying, and i know it's fixing to break or something. Does anybody else have this problem?
check the end of the cable where it hooks over the top of the pedal arm - sounds like it may be sticking - should have a little grease on it
