If you drive it conservatively (not drag racing) I don't see the problem, unless Honda trannies are junk, that is. I did it on American cars for years. If they weren't intended to be used manually at least once in while, then the shifter would only have P-R-N-D on it. Of course it wouldn't make sense to drive it that way everyday. What would be the point?

I have a manual, so I always shift anyway
