Adjustments to the cam gears should be made on a dyno to ensure that you are getting the best gain along the broadest areas of the powerband. The CTR cams are great, but only if you have some method of tuning them to take advantage of the best gains.

If you really want me to go into what advancing and retarding the cam does in a more sophisticated engine theory, I will. I am just saying that you shouldn't be dialing them at anything except 0,0 unless you get on a dyno.
