I have a 94 EX with intake and exhaust, nothing else. The car "had" 278k miles on it, but the motor was replaced with a j/y one with about 100k.

I just bought this car.

The guy before says he's being using synthetic motor oil. My question is, is it okay to switch back to normal 5w-30 oil instead of sythetic??

2nd Question:

Am I really getting the poor fuel mileage or is there a problem with the gauge cluster??

No I haven't done a tune-up yet and I don't know when a tune up was last done on the car. Within the next month I will be doing a tune-up which will include:

Wireset
Plugs
Oil/Filter
Fuel Filter
Air Filter
Inspect tranny fluid

Anything else?
