man, my local Honda dealership (down the street from my dorm) won't work on my car because "we can't get parts from Acura" yet if I give their parts dept. part numbers, they can magially get them...bah! The closest Acura dealership is about an hour drive!!!

This seems to be the norm for Honda/Acura dealers. These kind of comments just reinforce how poorly H/A dealers are when compared to other dealers who sell different cars. The closest Acura dealer to me is 1.5 hours away, and they suck. Yes, I'm naming names: Zimbrick Acura in Madison, WI. They are extremely lame; I could give a couple of stories, but I won't waste my time. Well maybe a short one: I inquired about the RSX-R...three dealers at Zimbrick gave me different stories. The one actually said "Oh, the Type-S is actually the same as the Type-R in japan, its just named different." That made me MAD, what do they take me for, a fool!?
My parents are "Acura people" and they will probably never go back. I have a teg of my own, and I for sure will never go there. And the sad part is, I would be a potential life long-customer!!! Of course, they don't care.
I'm done ranting.
