when my PC was newly formatted (no antivirus, no programs on it) it took under 10 seconds (2.4P4, 1,024mb ram)

Now, it's loaded with NAV, spyware blockers, etc ... about 30 to 40 seconds


I do remember the days of my 266mhz, win95 computer ... I'd come home, turn on the PC, start a microwave meal, get changed, sign on to the PC, get the food, start eating .... and the pc was just about ready to use. :chuckles:
