I know, I am just going on what other people have said...btw, its not just lift that we are talking about...duration and timing and all that stuff affects turbos too, and that is different on a type r cam...

duration is bad for a turbo tho. THe ideal turbo cam will have suepr high lift with short duration..
duration leaks boost thru overlap. You can dial out the overlap but that will throw other things out of wack, such as valves staying open too long.
