The Honda Fit/Jazz offers unique features because Honda put the fuel tank underneath the front seats, not in the rear axle area like most auto designers put the fuel tank. As a result, this frees up a
tremendous amount of space in the back seat area; it also allowed Honda to put in what they call the
Magic Seat system, where you can fold forward the seatbacks forward for a completely flat large cargo area or fold up the back seat bottoms for a large, high-height center cargo area. This is why I sometimes describe the Fit/Jazz as the
grocery mom car.
