For what's it's worth, I would suggest rebuilding the LS motor for a turbo
set-up. The increased torque and benefit of the turbo would more than
make up for the loss of V-tech. I just bought a turbo rebuild for my son's
teg for $1400.00. The engine was rebuilt with the eventual addition of the
turbo in mind.
