lower gearing like that is undesirable... i mean i personally hate it having to hold it at 4k rpm on the highway for an hour to do 80mph

imagine having to hold it at 5 i'd be insane.

you can get the greddy kit and intercooler for somewhere in the 3-4 k range... i'd first run a compression test on your engine to make sure that everything checks out ok first. if it doesnt you'll have to find any problems and correct them.

also since you are OBD1 you can install hondata without any problems aswell for a few extra hundred and get it on a dyno to fine tune it.

with the stock greddy kit and new injectors as well as a chrome or hondata tune you can make about 240-250 whp or about 280 crank...

any more power and it's really just pointless... you are better off figuring out how to drive that 250 correctly than waste money on getting any more.
