You guys seriously play too many video games.
Hondata or equivalent is absolutely necessary when boosting or have a setup that would benefit from ignition and fuel tuning. Once a VAFC becomes obsolete for your setup due to it just being a piggy back fuel controller with limited functions, a chipped ECU running Hondata, Crome, etc is necessary.
IMO, Crome with proper hardware >>> Hondata.
