I bought my '97 Prelude my senior year and was totally stoked. After driving it for awhile I felt very confident of it's abilities against other four-bangers. While racing a chump in a Cavalier who wouldn't leave me alone about how fast his car I over-revved my car pretty bad on the take off. I drove hard the rest of the strip and nothin appeared to be wrong. On the way home it felt like it didn't have as much power so I down shifted and at about 6grand my car made a weird whizzing sound and as I slowed down a consistent tick/knock started. I was just wondering if anyone has experienced the same thing or what it could be. The weird thing about the whole deal was it didn't start right after the over-rev just about 30 minutes later on the drive home. Anyones imput would be appreciated.
