Default body work

I got a 91 honda accord that i am in the process of fixing and customizing it. I am at the point where it is time for body work. I was wondering what the best method of removing dents from my car. i have several very small knicks and dents around the car. nothing major at all. someone told me that for best results i should bondo the little dents and then sand them down. but i dont know. also, my back 2 quarter panels, along the edge of the wheel trim, is rusted and like almost the entire back where the bumper is mounted is rusted to the point where my bumper is screwed into my car somewhere. I was told that for the wheel trim to cut the rust out then use fiber glass and sand it down to the original formation. please help me with this because i want to get my car painted but I need to know the best method of repairing the body.
