and crankwalk left and right

and anyways... no matter what vehicle make you're comparing, its always apples and oranges idiot...

reliability in a old car is not always 100 percent NO MATTER WHAT NAME IS ON IT. fixing things will always equal to money piling up especially on old cars...so not one so to speak will be cheaper to maintain than the other...

blah blah potential in the same price range is your first statement... first of...if you paid for a 91 EF for 1.5K ur an idiot i wouldnt pay that much for that car...second... if you did pay that much for an EF and dropped the rest of the 5gs on mods and swap... you still wouldnt touch a 300zxTT, because unless you're stupid and bought a lemon Z...i dont see anyone spending more than 1.5K on things to fix and counting maintenance... in order for an EF to even keep up with a Z, hed have to have atleast a B series or some sick SOHC setup... and i highly highly highly doubt itll cost less than 5k+ to do all that....

basically what im saying is, unless you've own or driven the other cars... dont hail the civic... yes i will admit it has potential and reliability...but it cost a lot of money to get it to keep up with some stock cars.

its always a lot cheaper to make something fast go faster...than to have some slow, quick...

EDIT: just to add to ur DSM comment... i know in the right hands those things can get sick times... my buddy had a 2nd gen GST that ran 13.2 at the lowest on street tires... but the problems he had on that was also pretty frequent
