That basically creates the charge for the distributor cap. It turns the battery's 12 volts into thousands.
i think that's it, i'm gonna go buy a replacement from dealer today, costs about 170 bucks. i'm not so sure why the coil would go bad. so i'll be replacing the part this weekend. we will see if it makes any difference, btw, ever since the injector cleaner, my car hasn't stalled, but i can tell the problem hasn't gone away.
