Ive seen some street leagel 9s RWD. Ive never seen any street legal 10s FWD.
Only reason why I got my Civic is because its a stylish and affordable economy car. Id much rather have a car on the side to play with like a RX-7 and beef it up the way I want. Not a Civic.
10's are completely doable in a street legal Civic. Good friend of mine, Gary Wang, has a Honda shop in Pelham NH. I helped work on this car (limited amounts) on several weekends and he'll run a 10.8 @ 132mph and drive it home.
After this video was made he was able to break a 10.4 @ 134mph. Next season he's going to attempt to hit 9's being completely street legal on pump gas.
The battle is tuning and traction. He spent countless hours nailing the suspension setup perfectly.
