so it wasn't the EGR valve, and my mechanics said it has something to do with a piece eletronic component that produces high voltage power. i have no clue what he's talking about, do you guys know? i'm skeptical about his views on EGR valve too, he used some diagnostic tools, but returned no findings of problems.
