If you don't enforce borders then why even have one in the first place? I'm sure the Middle eastern nut jobs who are gunning for us will have no trouble getting into the U.S. when they please. While we are locking down airports and federal buildings well within our borders, there are vast stretches in the southwest where anyone could stroll across praising Allah, locking and loading.
As someone who has spent more time in Texas than he cares to, I'm not surprised to hear that. And in case you've never visited your neighbor... pretty much any major bank branch, government building or major university in Mexico has armed military standing around. Do they ever gat people? No.
