you should get the transmission and motor together as one unit. I have a pair of axles that I could sell you for cheap if I weren't going out of town tomorrow (maybe when I get back :dunno: ). You can find it in a number of places: junk yard, local car forum, craigslist. The HAN classifieds, H-T classifieds and Ebay are ok too, but you really want to find one local so you can avoid shipping costs.

As for a book... buy a Haynes manual or Honda factory service manual... you will use it over and over. Its by far the best "part" you can buy for any car.
