The weaght of the flywheel helps turn the crankshaft! so if you make it lighter guess what! it makes ur engine rev higher... but you get more wear and tean on all the parts of your motor pluss you lose top end power and you cant go as fast (AKA loss momentum!) 1. It doesn't make the engine rev higher, it revs faster
2. You don't lose any top end power at all, and you can go just as fast.
3. The motor will run fine
4. Every mod you make puts more stress on the engine
I have a 7lb flywheel on my integra, and wouldn't trade it for the world.
