That's why they downsize. The fact of the matter is Ford's recent product lineup is pretty promising with the Ford 500, the new Mustang, etc. It's hopefully just a matter of time when they get back on their feet, but the fact of the matter is they have a shaky reputation to shuck first.
GM on the other hand is a mess. Their newer product lineup is as usual pretty lackluster and unless they do something very soon it's not going to bode well for the company.

I personally like GM's lineup a helluva lot more than ford's. I also agree that they should be looking to their foreign markets on how to improve cars stateside. They could charge a pretty penny for a turbocharged focus.
