Companys grow over time and as you may know (or not) Forrd Motor Company is right around the 100 years old mark. It's not like MS where it happened pretty much over night.

As for your comment about their product line...In the last few years their car line has sucked especially with their jump into the compact market, even with the new Mustang coming out this was inevitible. To say their truck line was generic or cheap is not a very accurate statement at all. In fact the F-150 was top dog truck for something like 15 years and their other trucks have been staples of working America for decades.

Ford trucks have always outlasted Chevy under working conditions (trust me I have driven them into the ground on the ranch) and are just plain a better build machine whether diesel or gas pumpers.
