let's see... i have been doing this for last 80k miles on my 94 accord, and it runs better than first time when i get it used.

it used to shut off automatically at the traffic light, the RPM just drops crazy and shuts down the ignition, but then ever since i started to manual shift with AT, my car runs better than ever! it doesn't die on the traffic light anymore.
