Unfortunately there's no easy way to fix it without spending money to do it right. I'm currently restoring/building a '95 Civic EX Coupe with 217K on it. When I picked it up, it had two rot holes the size of footballs in the quarter panels.
I ended up having to cut off the entire 1/4 panel, then cutting out the rusted section, welding in new replacement metal, acid dipped the entire panel, undercoated it, welded it back on, little bit of bondo, then primered and sanded the shit out of it, then paint.
You can put bondo there but it'll come back. Whether or not you feel like spending the money to fix it depends on how long you plan to have the car. Luckily I have hookups, but the work done just on the two 1/4 panels I had done would have costed $2500, without paint. :eek4:
