Preludes are sports cars...... they are sort of a Honda version of the Chevy Camaro Z28 (no direct comparisons, but the gist of the cars are the same). They may not be as rock solid reliable as an Accord (usually are, though), but for a sports car, they are SUPERIOR to competition in the price range and what the vehicle does. Cars that are driven hard (or want to be) will tend to wear out faster than cars driven for the family vacation. If it were a Camaro, you'd have far more serious problems than ignition switches and timming tensioners. Like leaking seals, gaskets, severe cowl shake, sagging headliner, peeling/fading paint, bad electrical, torn seat covers, hanging door trim, need I go on?
