how dirty was icv? I was told by a friend that works for the acura dealer that if you are not running 93 oct it will clog the mesh vet on the icv. You should have got a maintence req light. If you drive it more the cel will then come on. All of those lights should come on when you first start up the car and then go off if there is nothing wrong.
You can check the icv to see if it is good by useing a ohm meter. Connect the black lead of the meter to the center pin and read the resistance to the other two pins and they should ready about 16 to 28 ohms.
If the car is an automatic, it also has the fast idle thermo valve. that could be another problem.
