the m2b4 is nice, but my dream tranny is an m2f4 (4th gen) 5 speed with a kaaz and a houseman 4.7 FD. btw, you could buy/build one of these dream trannies for about $2000, which goes to show you how much extra money you're getting from insurance.

the typical used 5th gen 5 speed goes for about $500-700 bucks on h-t. however, any h or f transmission (cept the f20c for obvious reasons) will bolt up and work with the h22. but, the gear ratios on the F and h23 trannies suck.

the m2b4 should be floating around for about $1000. It's a good tranny, esp for those who want a simpler and cheaper (yet effective) LSD solution.

(just in case, if you've got an auto and are switching to manual, it'll be some more work.)
