Nevertheless, the aftermath was handled badly by both Michael Brown and President Bush. The local disaster relief infrastructures were pretty well hosed, and they needed more help than they got. I acknowledge that its easier for me to criticize from the sidelines, months later, than it is to lead during a time of emergency, but isn't that why we only elect the best and brightest to lead our country?
a federal sate of emergeny wasn't declared before hand because neither the governor nor the mayor of NO wanted
