Not too bad of an install for a 94. Use the radiator drain to drop antifreeze. If its been 2 years, pull the plug out of the block under the exhaust manifold (towards the left side) and complete draining. The housing is on the end of the lower radiator hose. 2 bolts and its out. Front is easy and visible, rear is by feel. Reinstall stat with gasket around edge of flange and dongle hole in the 12 o'clock position. Open bleeder valve and refill system. When air is out, close valve and warm up a couple of cycles. Top off overflow tank and you are done!
I used a Napa stat and it works just fine. I still find that it takes longer for gauge to come up if I turn fan on full blast from the get go. Wait for it to come up and then turn on fan.
