i think the remote range depends on the brand of alarm, not the antenna. correct me if im wrong. I have alpine alarm, sec-150, the remote range is too good to be true. 10 times better than the OEM one i had. with alpine, i can remote my car from the 4th floor and of course, it's a straight line distance with no obstruction. alpine rocks
