if it's the bottom strap on the binding that hurts, replace them with the technine toe straps for about 30 bucks. Instead of it going over the top of your foot it kind of "hugs" your toe back. I just bought them, and the ride is so much more comfortable. You should be able to buy them at any local skate/snow shop.
