no game
anywhere does that.
my gut tells me that nintendo is trying to stay true to what a console should be. we'll see if it works out.
Not yet, but they will be able to. I have xbox, ps2, and ngc...ngc dissapoints me in the graphics department even with the outrageously priced, online order only, 1st party only component cable, the games that are made for all consoles just look better on xbox->ps2->ngc. If you can't see things clearly in some games it can inhibit gameplay...for example NFS when speeding around if you can't differentiate a wall from the ground then you will crash. NGC tends to be very moshed in the graphics when I play, colors mixed up and not clear, xbox on the other hand is clear and I can see things better...for my gf this means everything, she has issues with her eyes and the ngc makes it even harder for her to see. Nintendo has more party type games which I do like, my gf will play them with me cuz she's not all into the shoot'em up bang bang vg's.
If Nintendo is changing their demographic then I understand what they are doing. A console that is more affordable, with games using more life-like interaction, and child friendly support will be a great success with parents and children. Affordable will mean more parents will buy it cuz it's cheaper than the other consoles, child friendly titles means less violence for their children to participate in/witness, and kids don't necessarily care about graphics. If this is not their aim then I think they may alienate their adult video gaming audience. jmo tho
