I wanted to know if any one else out there was having transmission problems with their Civic EX 2001. It's slips from 4th to 2nd gear usually when I am descending on hills. The dealer told me this was normal for my car, but in the write up he gave me about my transmission it states that I should have smooth descent down a hill. My car is far from smooth. It feels like I have either hit the brakes too hard or that I got rear ended. I know there was a huge write up in the LA Times about the 200 and 260-hp Honda and Accords slipping gears, but while they are driving. If any one has any information to help me I'd appreciate it.
