I perfer wired versus wireless, that way you get the full capability of your internet, not just what the router limits you to.
When you set up your router, make sure you have to have a password(Encrypted wireless) in order to connect to the wireless, otherwise anyone can get onto your internet and possibly cause problems and steal your bandwidth.
unless you have a super fast internet service you don't know what you're talking about. even at 5mbs that's no where near 11mbps. so no your internet service didn't magically get faster when you got a wireless router with a higher bandwidth.
