As far as commercialization and secular acceptance of christian holidays go, what about commercialization and christian acceptance of pagan holidays? Isn't St. Valentine's day an "adopted" christian holiday? I think we all can agree that valentines day is extremely overcommercialized.

If christians can celebrate st valentines day (and a few other "adopted" holidays), I don't see any problem with non-christians celebrating christmas.

Not that it matters to me. FWIW, I'm not christian and I don't celebrate christmas, valentines day, halloween, etc.
