honestly, i dont think the days of free music are over by a long shot.

it wil always be a cat and mouse game, there is no way to stop it. just like anything that became illegal in the past, there was that instant strike of fear when they first started coming down (when napster closed) but slowly people are finding new ways of DLing music illegally and are becoming comfortable with the fact that they are nearly all uncatchable except for a select unlucky few.

i dont want to, but i'll liken the downloading of free music to the use of weed. honestly, theres no stopping it now, theres only making it harder to do, and then in return from the public harder to catch.

for right now smaller communitys like SLSK provide the best protection. and the ammount of people successfully downloading free music grows everyday.
